JUMP FORCE: Yugi Muto Moveset and Gameplay Theorycrafting!

Yugi Muto is bar far the most exciting Jump Force Character for me. I seriously CANNOT wait to start using this character. Knowing we will likely hear about his gameplay and moveset fairly soon, I thought it would be fun to Theorycraft our own Yugi Moveset!

Habaduba: How about Slifer beeing introduced as a bonus lockdown, and if you chose to spend bonus meter on stance change it would call him in to launch a preety much lockdown projectile , giving immense block advantage based on how many stances you already entered before(as if drawing cards) This would work nicely with offensive stance teleport for crossup and command grab as a form of setup and a gap closer. The character already would be very flexible, so it would work as a reward for not tagging in other charracters for better matchups but instead adjusting the stance and playstyle. Also i don't think such transformations are generally refered to as stances, what you describe is more of a "form" or "mode" type thing. Stance would refer to phisicall position, so while it would refer to getting Access to a new moveset, it wouldn't mean beeing able to stay in it in the neutrall and act like always, limited in a way. Stance would be more of a Tekken harrier type move or MK Sonya military stance. Not a stable change of moveset . Not sure tho, just trying to figure it out so I'd appriciate someone to challange that deffinition down below in the comments. Either way, thats hella big moveset but it could be a thing depending on the games standard. We will have to wait and see now.

Aaram Chase: Just give him the fusions as the special moves for each character so dark magician would fusion with buster blader then that fusion would be his special in the show, or dark magicia girl would fuse with tamius then use their in show attack and last summon soul and red eyes fuse then use their in show attack and for a ultimate have Exodia or the 3 dragons become the knight form and use that infinite attack he used on dartz

19. Andres Marrero: Swords of revealing light and mirror force should act exactly like they do in the game. The swords of revealing light pins the opponent and they can't move or attack for a while, while Mirror force acts like it always does, bouncing the opponent's attacks back at the and they can't avoid it, you didn't include magical hats, mystic box, dark illusion, those daggers, and there is magical cylinder for dark magician girl. His guard should be Kuriboh which can block just about everything and lets include their detonation as well.

23. Minako Hiashi: Does Yugi even have the Exodia cards? I'm pretty sure they got lost pretty early on and I don't remember him ever collecting them all back I imagine that Exodia would work like every time you use a monster card he draws a new card and has a random chance of receiving a body part collecting all the body parts is an auto win. Exodia being based on luck Yugi could still use the god card as a Ultra finisher

27. Yami Yugi: Yami Marik stfu bitch. I won multiple duels without having to control anyone to do it for me, lazy ass duelist and you only won some duels because you made your opponent go through a coma instead of finishing the duel fairly
28. FaceGod 21: Think of this game as mortal Kombat X 1 character different variations. He would have dark magician as a different fighting style with different card combos. Black luster soldier with a basic sword fighting style

30. KidArk: +Minako Hiashi But you said drawing exodia is an instant win. Drawing the right item with Faust helps but it doesnt win.

Kielian: i would say that osiris is a better finisher for atem since atem is the human personification of osiris as osiris is the considered god of the pharoahs. pharoahs are seen as dependents of osiris. its the reason why out of all three gods atem is closest towards this god. as shinta of "shinta review" says in his review of battle city when atem faced strings he was humbled before the god he was suppose to personify.
32. Evan Murray: I would make Yugi's grab a swords of revealing light and exodia combination. Have he's normal attacks be like a high punch be dark magician, low punch be dark magician girl, high kick be magician of black chaos, low kick be black luster soldier. Then he's special can be summon skull, gaia the dragon champion, for a parry it could be mirror wall or magic cylinder, and for he's last special move it can be either thousand knives or magic box. Yugi's ultimate would be starting with the triple dark magic attack (from the end of virtual world arc), if that connects with your opponent then you will see kings knight, queens knight, and jacks knight be tributed off to summon Slifer the sky drangen, then Slifer use its secent mouth effect followed up by its normal attack from its main mouth, after that you see the magnet warriors get tributed off for obelisk the tormentor doing he's fist attack thing, finally ending with seeing three more of Yugi's monsters be tributed off and say the chant for the winged dragon of Ra to do he's thing. That would be how i do Yugi's move set.
33. KidArk: +Minako Hiashi But naoto one hitting you isnt lucky , you have a combo into it. What I'm saying is a one hit kill CAN NOT be based off of luck. You cant randomly start the match with ryu throw 5 fireballs and 1 out of those 5 has the chance to instantly kill you. The equivalent is if shigaraki did 5 grabs but one out of the 5 had the chance to instantly kill.

Minako Hiashi: +KidArk There is a few characters that end the match without knocking out the opponent Naoto in Persona Arena just needs to lower the death counter with Magic bullets and then hit with light or dark Tomura from my hero Academia ones Justice only needs to grab the opponent's face 5 times
