- mr10man69: NGV= Natural Gas Vehicle. In Thailand it is either CNG Compressed Natural Gas or LNG Liquified Natural Gas. Of course some vehicles use Propane, LPG
- T. Q.: Since we are still on the topic of turian. Did you know that of all the turians grown in Thailand, only about 20% remain in Thailand? The rest are exported due to high demands. Thus increasing the price of turians inside Thailand. I think I will move to Thailand and start a turian orchard along with raising crawfish. That should be more than enough to support my retirement :D
I believe you have mentioned this before, and I have also read that eating turian and drinking alcohol is not recommended. Something in the fruit can increase the speed of absorption of alcohol and intensify the blood alcohol level. Perhaps this could be the goal (a cheap buzz :), but it could have a life threatening effect if your alcohol level gets too high!

Another interesting one for across the border from you is Kampuchea. The English found it easier to say Cam bo dia instead of Kam pu chea. Same same.

- Choi Lu: Biological and various field of science use nomenclatures from where it is first researched and studied. in this case, the fruit was studied in Indonesia and the name was adopted in science literature. in every country that this fruit existed, there is a local name for it but since most farangs are familiar with the name, Thai vendors adopted as well
